PAINTING WATERCOLOUR FLOWERS
Saturday 1st April 2017
12 - 4pm
This workshop will enable you to paint beautiful, vibrant flowers with bursts of intense colour through to delicate pastel washes. Use watercolours, pastels and coloured pencils to develop lots of techniques you can apply to your other work. Explore colour mixing, how to create depth using tone and texture, choose compositions and much more.
The workshop is taught by Dawn Beedell - an artist and qualified teacher with 18 years experience.
Dawn uses watercolours often in her mixed media work and in painting watercolour landscapes and portraits.
ARTPAD is a friendly and inspiring environment where you can relax and spend time being creative and having fun. All materials will be provided along with a workshop handout that explains what you will be doing. The tutor will demo or explain things and will be on hand throughout the workshop to help and guide you. We have a break for tea and biscuits, time to chat and a look at each other’s work.
Refreshments are provided on the day. Unfortunately ARTPAD doesn't have wheelchair access, but we do provide outreach! Places are £35 per person, please book in advance.
